Chandigarh,07.12.19-Joint symposium of Indian Journal of Pharmacology (IJP)-British Journal of Pharmacology (BJP) on “Publication & Collaborative research” was conducted in the Experimental Pharmacology laboratory (EPL), in Department of Pharmacology, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), on 7th Dec 2019. The main objective to conduct this symposium was to educate the young scientists, faculty, students and researchers to improve the scientific writing skills and publication in peer review journals.

The symposium was officially inaugurated by Chief guest Dr Amrita Ahluwalia (editor in chief BJP), Prof Bikash Medhi (Organizing chairman and Editor-In chief IJP) and Dr Ajay Prakash (Associate editor IJP). Dr. Bikash Medhi Organizing Chairman welcomed the gathering and Dr Ajay Prakash briefed the program me.In the same event, the Book of Clinical Research (Principles, Practices & Perspectives) was released by Prof Bikash Medhi and Dr Amrita Ahluwalia. This book covers all aspects of clinical research, evolving paradigms in clinical research, latest amendments and guidelines on ethics committees, evolution of drug pricing mechanisms, etc. This book is very beneficial to readers, researchers, students. More than 100 participants were gathered in this joint symposium to gain more and more knowledge regarding the Research and Publication.The organizing team includes Dr. Ajay Praksah, Dr Phulen Sarma, Dr Rohit, Dr Seema Bansal, Ms Saniya, Ms Sukhmeet, Ms Ankita, Mr Nishant under the supervision of Professor Bikash Medhi.
