Chandigarh, August 19- Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that the present state government has started giving plywood industry licenses for Safeda and Popular trees in Chhachhrauli and Jagadhri, which has benefited the entrepreneurs and the people of the area.

The Chief Minister was addressing the people during Jan Ashirwad Yatra at Ledi, Khizrabad and Chhachhrauli of Yamunanagar district, late last evening.

He said that the state government is providing 24 hours electricity to 4,000 villages. Apart from this, the price of electricity has been reduced by Rs 2 per unit and power thefts have also been stopped. He said that the state government is giving the highest price of sugarcane of Rs 340 per quintal in the country.

While addressing the people Yamunanagar, the Chief Minister said that in the last five years, the state government has worked for Ease of Living and have got conducted development works to the tune of Rs 1,400 crore in Yamunanagar. There is no village or locality which no development work has been carried out.

He said that the state government would provide employment to those youth who would register their names on Sakshan portal.
