CHANDIGARH: 29 Jun 2019.The cadets of No. 1 Chandigarh Air Squadron NCC took out cancer awareness rally. Around 50 cadets participated in the rally under leadership of Group Captain M R Pandeya, the Commanding Officer.

Addressing the cadets before the rally, officials of Chandigarh Air wing NCC unit, Wing Commander BS Srinivas and Junior Warrant Officer (JWO) Rajesh Kumar interacted with the cadets on the preventive steps to check the disease and said cancer was curable when detected in early stages and persons should approach a doctor immediately when they find lumps in any part of the body.

The rally passed through shops, streets of Sector 47 of the town and culminated at the NCC Complex at Sector 31 here. The cadets raised slogans denouncing consumption of tobacco products, liquor and other addictive’s.
