Chandigarh,15.06.19-My journey of music has been short and hard working one. I was only 5 years of age when my school teacher told my parents about my talent in singing. My family being of a totally different sphere in career which was all related to the Legal scenario had no knowledge about how to polish me in this field but somehow they managed to get me into Shastriya Sangeet which I only learnt for 2 years and after that on finding good schools of music they made me join Gandharva Mahavidyalaya where I learnt Indian classical music for 4 years then further to Bhatkhande Sangit for music for sometime. I have done my schooling from Delhi Public School, Mathura Road and right now I am in my 4th year of college pursing LLB from Amity Law School Delhi. Over the years of my singing I came closer to my roots in punjabi music and kept gaining interest in it as my family belongs to Bajwara, District Hoshiarpur, Punjab. Now my Guru in music is the Legend of Punjabi Music Industry Shri. Charanjeet Ahuja and I am under the constant guidance of Mr. Sanjeev Anand who is the renowned lyricist in the music industry and the writer of my new song Dilli Shehar which came under the Lable of T-Series Apna Punjab. Dilli Shehar was his idea and he was the one who decided to get it directed by the best Music Director Mr. Millind Gaba and the video by Mr. Shabby Singh who is also the best in his field. Only and only through this collective effort by all the team My song Dilli Shehar was made and is being loved and supported by a people. Talking about the song it is a total mixture of contemporary and traditional Punjabi music as it includes “Bolliyan” as well as a “rap” which is the trend nowadays amongst the youth. My sole purpose to do so was that people of every age group can enjoy the variety of flavours in my song. I am only 21 years of age and I have a long way to go and if god keeps on showering his blessings on me like this I will soon create more songs and would give as much as possible to the music industry.
