Chandigarh, May 25 - Haryana Board of School Education, Bhiwani, on the occasion of its Golden Jubilee, is providing another opportunity to students who had passed Secondary or Senior Secondary exams ten years ago, to apply for improvement in one subject. Such candidates could download the application form from Boards’ websitewww.bseh.org.in .

Giving this information, a spokesman of Board said that those who have passed their Secondary or Senior Secondary examination between March-2009 to July-2018, they are being provided another opportunity to improve their marks in one subject.

He said that the examinees who want to avail the benefit of this opportunity they could personally come to the office of Board from May 27 to June 4, 2019, to apply offline for improvement by paying Rs 2,000 fees. Such candidates must submit the certified copy of their passing certificate of Secondary or Senior Secondary exam along with their application at Boards’ office. The passing certificate should be certified either by gazetted officer or by Principal of Government or non-government school.

J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad has added another feather to its cap as three more engineering programs of the University have been received accreditation from National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

Chandigarh, May 25 – J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad has added another feather to its cap as three more engineering programs of the University have been received accreditation from National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The accreditation granted by the NBA to University programs reflects the quality of Technical Education being imparted in the University and strengthen the University’s vision to become globally acclaimed Institute in Technical Education.

Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dinesh Kumar has congratulated all the staff members for this great achievement and expressed gratitude towards the Governor, Mr. Satyadeo Narain Arya, who is also Chancellor of the University for extending full support to the University due to which University is setting new milestones and supporting State Government’s mission to set high standards in Technical Education. He said that with the accreditation of various engineering programs, the graduates of this University will get “substantial equivalency” in several countries including the USA and UK.

The NBA has granted accreditation to four Undergraduate Programs and one Postgraduate Program posed by the University under Tire-1 format. The accreditation has been granted to UG Programs for the period of 3 years and PG Program for 2 years. The programs which have been granted NBA accreditation include B. Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering and Information Technology and M. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.

Earlier, the NBA had granted accreditation to B.Tech. in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Master in Computers Application (MCA) posed by the University in January last year.

The accreditation is in line with the Washington accord to which NBA is a signatory. In compliance with Washington accord, graduates of NBA Tier-1 accredited programs from J.C. University will be globally recognised by the other signatory countries, which include Australia, Canada, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, UK and USA as having met the academic requirements for entry to the practice of engineering in those countries.

NBA is an autonomous body that periodically evaluates technical institutions and programs according to specified norms and standards recommended by AICTE. As a part of accreditation process, NBA expert team visited the campus during April 26 to 28, 2019 and evaluated four Departments of the University.

The NBA Expert Team assessed the University on its parameters and key aspects during its visit and inspected all the facilities like labs, workshops, libraries and other student support services and had extensive interaction with faculty, students, alumni, parents and senior functionaries of the University, besides examining all records maintained by the University.

It may be recalled that J.C. Bose University, earlier known as YMCA University, upgraded to the level of University in year 2009, has achieved significant achievements during the last three years. The University was granted ‘A’ Grade accreditation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) of University Grant Commission (UGC) in November, 2016 for the first time and recently, it has made its presence with 144th rank in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF-2019) for Engineering Colleges and became the first State owned Institute to be ranked amongst top 150 Engineering Institutions in the Country.

Chandigarh, May 25- Haryana Government has issued transfer and posting orders of two IAS officers, with immediate effect.

Ashok Kumar Meena, Chief Vigilance Officer, HSVP, Panchkula and Deputy Commissioner, Hisar has been given additional charge of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Hisar.

Mukesh Kumar Ahuja, Administrator, HSVP, Panchkula and Additional Director, Urban Estate, Panchkula, Director and Special Secretary, Urban Estates Department has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Charkhi Dadri vice Ajay Singh Tomer. The orders of posting of Ajay Singh Tomer will be issued later on.
