Chandigarh, Jan 15 – Additional Chief Secretary, Haryana School Education Department, Mr. P.K. Das said that the evaluation of school examinations would be done on CBSE pattern so that examinee would get marks for as much as correct answer of a question attempted.

Mr. Das, who was interacting with mediapersons, here today, urged teachers, parents and enlightened people of the society to extend support in curbing use of unfair means in school examinations besides encouraging students not to engage in use of unfair means. He said that the Department would launch a campaign against use of unfair means with the assistance of people.

Urging the students to prepare for their exams without any tension, he said that studying day and night does not matter, but studying according to physical and mental capability by concentrating helps.

Mr. Das said that the Department has directed the teachers to help the weak students in their studies in a planned manner. He said that teachers should not discourage students because sometimes this leads to discouragement among them and they engage in use of unfair means.

He said that question answers of previous three examinations have been uploaded on the website of Haryana Board of School Education so that students could solve them to know the pattern of exam. He said that the schools which have result ranging from 0 to 10 in Board Examinations, directions have been issued to hold meetings with such schools to get better results in ensuing examinations.
