New Delhi, 12 October 2018: Marking the advent of the festive season, Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation Ltd. is organising ‘The Great Dandiya Nights’ at Dilli Haat Janakpuri and the Garden of Five Senses. Offering the best of Navratri festivities, the celebrations will be held from 12th to 14th October, and 13th to 17th October at the Garden of Five Senses and Dilli Haat Janakpuri respectively.


Festivals have always been a key component in bringing people together from all walks of life. With the Great Dandiya Nights, we saw an opportunity to amplify the spirit of belonging and therefore made the best out of the same,” stated Sh. Manish Sisodia, Hon’ble Dy. Chief Minister and Minister of Tourism, Govt of Delhi.

One of the most awaited events during the festive season, Delhi Tourism organises the Great Dandiya Nights to spread festive cheer. Dance Nights to the sound and rhythm of Dandiya will form the epicentre of all festive activities. The Great Dandiya Nights have witnessed an enthusiastic response from the people of Delhi.

A delightful combination of Dandiya, culinary delights, and entertainment, the Great Dandiya Nights will feature a special Navratri menu comprising of delectable festive treats and dishes at both the venues. At the Garden of Five Senses, DJ and Garbha artists have been invited to mesmerize and engage with the visitors, allowing for uninhibited celebrations.

At Dilli Haat Janakpuri, the celebration will be a delight for shoppers as well, with vibrant stalls for accessories, decorations and other trinkets added to the season’s festivities. With the inclusion of special camel rides and swings for children, the five-day Navratri celebration at Dilli Haat Janakpuri will be an event that enthrals people across ages
