Chandigarh : 31 Jul 2018, 49 NCC cadets from Govt Model Secondary School, sector 20, Chandigarh visited NCC Complex in Sector 31 today. The aim of the visit was to familirise and motivate cadets to join the National Cadet Corps(NCC). The cadets were taken on an organised tour of their parent unit No. 1 Chandigarh Air Squadron NCC and were shown the motivational movies to join NCC & Armed Forces alongwith Aero-modeling display. The cadets were also explained the various benefits of joining NCC, its benefits in employment as well as in day today life. While cadets enjoyed flying the simulator, they were introduced to various parts of the aircraft viz. airframe, engine and equipment fitted in the cockpit were also highlighted to the cadets. Publicity material with information on “Career in Indian Air Force” was distributed to the cadets on visit.
