Chandigarh,11.07.18-Today i.e on 11.07.2018 Chandigarh Traffic Police has conducted a awareness campaign at various places in the city to aware the women to wear the safety head gear (helmet) with regard to Chandigarh Administration Notification issued vide No.H-III(7)-2018/10101 dated 06.07.2018, wherein the helmets are compulsory for women riders and pillion riders except a Sikh person (including woman) wearing a turban.

This campaign was conducted with role of Yamraj Ji and Chitarkutt Ji, wherein maximum public especially woman participated in the campaign interestingly. Chandigarh Police spread awareness among women two wheeler drivers to wear helmet through role of Yamraj Ji and Chitarkutt Ji.

Besides this, awareness programme were also organized in Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa High School, Sector 35 and Sacred Heart School, Sector 26, Chandigarh to sensitize the school students. 200 girl’s students attended this session. Traffic Marshals, Sh. Mohinder Kataria and Kulmeet Sodhi were also present and aware the students to follow traffic rules. Students were also requested to spread this message further in their family and among dear ones.
