Chandigarh, January 25 : It was a life changing experience for the Air NCC cadets from the city who were among the teams of 12 cadets (6 Boys & 6 girls) visited Kazakhstan for 14 days and 15 Cadets (11 Boys & 4 Girls) visited Moscow for 8 days from across the country as a part of the Youth Exchange Programme. Cadet Under Officer Abhishek Moudgil and Cadet Warrant Officer Roshani of DAV College, sector 10 were the only two cadets from the state to represent the country.

Cadets were awarded with merit certificate and cash award of Rs 10000/- each by Brig RS Thakur, Group commander, NCC Group Chandigarh.

          We participated in NCC activities of the host country to create an increased awareness and appreciation of each other's socio-economic and cultural realities. It was a grand hospitality offered by people in Moscow and Kazakhstan and we were made to visit places where they could know about the country and their culture, said cadet Abhishek and Roshni.

            Cadet Abhishek and Cadet Roshani were fielded as the Best cadets from Pb, Har, HP & Chd NCC Directorate and had to compete with their fellow cadets from across the country who appeared for the YEP selection. said CO Air NCC, Wing Commander M R Pandeya.
