Chandigarh,15.09.17-15TH SEPT --On the first official day of the GOSICON Conference, welcome address was given by the GOSI President Padam Shri MR. John Ebnezar to a full house of 250 delegates constituting of both national and international faculties . The emphasis of this conference is on " Understanding the Ageing Population " which was also one of the guest lecture by Dr. Prakash Sigedar. Dr. Rajesh Malhotra from AIIMS . New Delhi presented our main GOSI oration today on how to make our old ageing population rejuvenate . Restoring and Rebuilding their bones as well as their confidence to age beautifully.
The highlight of today conference was the lecture of Ms.Sally Boswell from Queen Elizabeth Hospital,UK on the " Role of Nurses in Hip Fracture Patient Care". This important view came from the allied therapeutic people who are as important as doctors needed during the care of a pateint
