Chandigarh, 10th March, 2022. The day 4 of the ‘Iconic Week’ celebrations unfolded with a melodious flute recital by Veval Sharma accompanied by Kumar Lucky (on Sitar) and Avirbhav Verma (On Tabla) at Sukhna Lake.This hour long programme fascinated the morning walkers and filled their day with serenity and positivity.

For the fitness enthusiasts of the City Beautiful, Govt. College of Yoga Education and Health organized a Mass Yoga Demonstration at Sector 17, Plaza in the morning. The Yogic session conducted by Mr. Roshan Lal (Yoga Instructor) was then followed by a Circuit Walk at Sukhna Lake. A Guided forest tour was organised covering the forest stretch of 3.5 km up to regulatory End of the Lake. The participants spotted a lot of wildlife during this tour which made it worthwhile. A quiz competition on the theme of “India’s Rich Cultural Heritage “ was held at Govt. ITI for Women,Sector11,Chandigarh. The finale of the quiz competition will be held tomorrow. The magnificent Classical Instrumental evening “Parampara” at Tagore Theatre, Sector 18,Chandigarh left the city residents spellbound. Sh. Divyansh Harshit Shristava, a young maestro, accompanied by Pt. Subhash Maharaj (On Tabla) and Sh. Rishi Shankar Upadhyay (On Pakhawaj) mesmerized the audience. The Iconic Week has provided the residents with an opportunity to come out of their homes and revel in the spirit of festivities after two long years of Covid restrictions.
