CHANDIGARH, 17.10.21-National Service Scheme in collaboration with the Centre for Medical Physics and UIAMS organized two day event to celebrate the essence of “EK BHARAT SHRESHTHA BHARAT”.
The Second Day marked with an array of cultural performances on the theme of "Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat". The theme covered the various aspect of Indian Heritage, Culture and Art, keeping in mind the UT paired state, Dadar and Nagar Haveli. Volunteers outshined themselves by performing Gidda, Bhangra, Skit, Haryanvi Dance, Garba, Nati, Kathak and other cultural performances.
Dr. Vivek Kumar, Chairperson, CMP and NSS, PO told that the aim of the event was to celebrate the unity in diversity of our nation and to maintain and strengthen the fabric of traditionally existing emotional bonds between the people of our country and to showcase the rich heritage and culture, customs and traditions of either state for enabling people to understand and appreciate the diversity that is India, thus fostering a sense of common identity.
