She would always make my favourite dishes. Watching her cooking and due to her blessings, I sharpened myself to try out new and exciting recipes. With time Cooking has become a passion for me. I am Madhulika Vatsal presenting for you all some very amazing, delicious,yet very simple and easy recipes to win a lot of praise and make you feel overjoyed, proud and accomplished. Healthy Oil Free Moong Dal Pakode
Ingredients –
1 cup yellow moong dal soaked for 3-4 hours

1/2 cup finely chopped onion

1 tbsp grated ginger

1 tbsp chopped green chilis

1 tsp garam masala

1 tsp salt

¼ cup fresh coriander

¼ tsp baking soda

Method –

Remove all water from the soaked dal, transfer dal in a mixer jar and grind in a coarse paste.

Transfer the dal in a bowl and beat with your hands for 5-6 minutes. Add 1 tbsp grated ginger, 1 tbsp chopped green chilis, 1/2 cup finely chopped onion, fresh coriander, garam masala, tsp red chili powder, a pinch of hing and salt and mix nicely with your hands. Add 1/4 baking soda and mix.

Heat a appam pan, grease with oil. Fill the appam maker cavities with prepared dal mixture. Cover and allow to cook for 5 minutes on low flame. After 5 minutes, flip with the help of a spoon and allow to cook on low flame for 5 minutes.

Take out from the appam maker and enjoy with green chutney.
