CHANDIGARH,03.03.21-With the vision to highlight the urgent need to take action to end the inequalities that are prevalent around the world, the Philosophy Department of Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women celebrated Zero Discrimination Day. Slogan Writing and Poster Making activities on the topic 'Zero Discrimination' were organised as part of the celebration. Students also held discussions on 'Zero Discrimination' with the aim to create awareness and resolve to end all forms of discriminations prevailing at various levels in the structure of family and society. In all the activities, students put forth their novel ideas and suggestions to help create an equitable world by fighting the inequalities present in our society.

Principal Dr. Nisha Bhargava underlined the importance of positive measures to end class, caste, religion and gender discrimination for creating a just society wherein everyone has equal rights and opportunities. She added that the youth have a significant role to play in achieving this goal.
