Chandigarh, February 26 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal took an online pledge and launched the official website of Hifazat campaign, which was started earlier this week by Haryana State Commission for Protection of Child Rights in collaboration with Haryana Police for creating awareness against Child Sexual Abuse.

The campaign’s official website (www.hifazat.info) will provide Information, Education and Communication (IEC) material, Volunteering opportunity, details about the Hifazat districts events and an option for corporates to sponsor these activities.

The essential idea behind making an official website of the Hifazat campaign is to reach the maximum number of people in the state and spread awareness regarding the need for sensitization against Child Sexual Abuse. We would urge people to use the website’s services and also take an online pledge to mark their presence for ensuring a bright future of the children,” said Ms. Jyoti Bainda, Chairperson, Haryana State Commission for Protection of Child Rights.

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today approved a proposal for the amendment of Haryana Enterprises Promotion Rules, 2016

Chandigarh, February 26 - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today approved a proposal for the amendment of Haryana Enterprises Promotion Rules, 2016 to give effect to the proposed regulatory reforms in Haryana Enterprises and Employment Policy-2020. These Rules may be called Haryana Enterprises Promotion (Amendment) Rules, 2021.

Divulging more details in this regard, an official spokesperson said after the amendment a proviso in Rule 8(1) and Rule 9 of the Haryana Enterprises Promotion Rules, 2016 will be added to give effect to the regulatory reforms in the Haryana Enterprises and Employment Policy-2020.

He said that after the proposed amendment the MSMEs will be given all requisite business clearances within 15 days, beyond which there will be a provision for automated deemed clearance on the Haryana Enterprises Promotion Centre (HEPC) portal.

In addition, no inspections will be carried out for a period of three years from the date of starting a business, said the spokesperson.

Further, for the recovery of Micro, Small Enterprises (MSEs) dues, a provision will be made in the Haryana Micro, Small Enterprises Facilitation Council (HMSEFC) rules to recover the outstanding payments of MSEs as arrear of the land revenue, he informed.

Chandigarh, February 26: Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala said that the State Government is fully prepared for crop procurement season and barley crop will be procured at Minimum Support Price (MSP) for the first time. Also, six crops including wheat, mustard, paddy, sunflower, gram, and barley will be procured at the MSP for the first time in the upcoming procurement season in the state.

Sh. Dushyant Chautala, who also holds the portfolio of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, said that better arrangements will be made for the procurement of crops in the mandis and this time the payment for the crops will be deposited in the accounts of the farmers in 48 hours.

Urging the farmers to get their crops registered on Meri Fasal Mera Byora portal, Sh. Dushyant Chautala said that every grain of the crop registered by the farmers on the portal will be procured at MSP. He said that as soon as the Arthiya issues the J-form to the farmer, payment will be paid to the farmers in 48 hours. He said that during the previous procurement season, the State Government had made adequate arrangements to procure paddy and made payments on time. He said that the State Government has been working for the benefit of the farmers and will continue to do so.

While speaking about the budget, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the budget will be presented keeping in mind the interest of all sections of society. In addition, the budget will focus on strengthening the state’s infrastructure, he added. He said that suggestions are being taken through departmental meetings. He said that due to the previous year’s model budget presented keeping in mind the interests of the public; the state's tax collection was also surplus despite the COVID-19 pandemic. Not only this, facilities were provided to the public without any difficulty and no one had to suffer.

Chandigarh, February 26: Haryana's Minister of State for Women and Child Development, Smt. Kamlesh Dhanda has said that society will be able to understand the significance of International Women's Day, which is observed on March 8 every year, only when it is celebrated with full enthusiasm by everyone.

Smt. Dhanda was presiding over the meeting of the State-Level Selection Committee here today to shortlist women and girls who have achieved significant targets in various fields in preparation of International Women's Day.

It was informed during the meeting that the girls are awarded in various categories like sports, cultural work, social work, media and literature, bravery, education, and Best Child Care Institute. Cash and citation of Rs 11,000 each are given as prizes. Special competitions including on-the-spot painting, dance and music competitions are conducted in various institutions in the age group of 4 to 6 years, 6 to 10 years, 10 to 14 years and 14 to 18 years for which three prizes are also given in each category. Prizes of Rs 5,100, Rs 2,100, and Rs 1,100 are given for the first, second and third place respectively.

It was also informed in the meeting that all the programme officers have been directed to organize women empowerment programmes at the district, block, and village levels. It was also informed during the meeting that the Jagannath Bal Ashram, Rohtak has done a commendable job, which falls under the Best Child Care Institute category, of helping a child named Chandni, who hails from Jharkhand, to return to her native state.

Smt. Dhanda said that not only has economic development taken place in the state but social indicators have also shown improvement in the condition of women. The State Government is committed to the socio-economic development of women and during the last few years several schemes have been launched for their empowerment and development, she added. She said that it has to be ensured that these schemes are implemented earnestly.

Chandigarh, February 26: In view of Khelo India Youth Games -2021 to be held in Haryana, Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal met with officers of the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and Sports Authority of India.

On this occasion, Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs, Sh. Sandeep Singh, Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. DS Dhesi, Principal Secretary, Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Sh. Yogendra Chaudhary, Deputy Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Smt. Ashima Brar and other officers were present.

In the meeting, the Chief Minister said that Khelo India Youth Games -2021 is a very prestigious competition. For this, the best arrangements will be made by the Haryana Government, he assured.

While giving a presentation related to Khelo India to the Chief Minister, a team of officers from the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and Sports Authority of India apprised that the respective managers of the Games inspected their respective venues as well as the infrastructure and equipment available.

A meeting of Competition Managers and Competetion Incharges was also held in regard to preparations for the games in Panchkula.

Director General, Haryana Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Sh. SS Phulia said that all the lists related to sports grounds were exchanged during the meeting and the improvements made in the sports grounds and their suggestions were also discussed. He said that there will be a total of 25 sports competitions including five indigenous games in the Khelo India competitions. Around 5000 youth will participate in the under-18 category of the sports competition, he added.

Chandigarh, February 26: The Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) has launched 'Know Your Bill' scheme to redress complaints regarding electricity bills by the consumers residing in Haryana.

Sharing more information, spokesperson of UHBVN said that 'Khula Darbars’ would be set up in all the districts of UHBVN namely Panchkula, Ambala, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Yamunanagar, Kaithal, Sonipat, Panipat, Rohtak and Jhajjar.

The spokesperson said that Managing Director UHBVN, Sh. Shashank Anand, while issuing necessary directions said that sub-divisional officers will organize open 'Khula Darbars’ so as to resolve the complaints regarding electricity bills. These Darbars should be held on every Thursday, from 10 am to 2 pm and it should be ensured that all the problems related to the power bills are resolved on the spot.
