Chandigarh,26.02.21-South 1 Branch of Bharat Vikas Parishad organised two programmes for the welfare of poor section of society. In the morning a haemoglobin check up camp under the project Mahila Divas for women of remote area was organised in Government Middle School, Burail with the sole aim to detect haemoglobin deficiency and ensure timely treatment, if required.As many as thirty five samples were collected .On this occasion Mrs Savita Pal was also honoured for her noticeable achievements in the field of education despite financial hurdles.

In the evening an intelligent but financially weak BCom second year student who is also pursuing CA simultaneously ,was handed over a laptop to enable her to perform her studies in a perfect manner. The simple function was organised at community centre,Sector 48 Chandigarh.
