Chandigarh, February 23- Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala today reviewed the ongoing and upcoming projects in various villages of Uchana Constituency during a meeting held in Chandigarh.

Sh. Dushyant Chautala directed to complete the ongoing projects timely. There will be no shortage of funds for developmental works, he added. He said that the projects related to education, health, sports, roads, electricity, and water should be completed within the stipulated period and construction work should also be expedited. To fulfill the requirement of land for some projects in various villages, he also directed to identify land in the nearby areas.

Sh. Dushyant Chautala held a detailed discussion and directed to complete all the formalities as soon as possible and complete the by-pass road of Uchana town by March 15, 2021. He directed to start various works including construction of a Government College after identifying the land in Kakrod or nearby villages, setting up of primary health center in Uchana, starting of health and wellness center in village Mangalpur, relocation of police station to Mandi or any other suitable place in Uchana.

Sh. Dushyant Chautala directed to construct a stadium at Uchana Kalan or somewhere nearby after identifying a suitable place along with construction of synthetic track in Alewa village. He directed to set up technical institutes under the Department of Skill Development and Industrial Training in Pegan, Thua, Alewa, Karsindhu, Naguran and Khatkar villages and said that all the formalities should be completed soon to start their construction work.

He also reviewed the construction works of several roads in Uchana region and directed to complete them soon.

On this occasion, Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Sh. DS Dhesi, Additional Chief Secretary, Public Works (Building and Roads) Department, Sh. Alok Nigam, Additional Chief Secretary, Public Health Engineering Department, Sh. Devender Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Science and Technology Department, Mr. Amit Jha, Additional Chief Secretary, Urban Local Bodies Department, Sh. SN Roy, Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, Sh. Rajeev Arora, Principal Secretary, Haryana Higher Education Department, Sh. Anand Mohan Sharan, Principal Secretary, Town & Country Planning and Urban Estates Department, Sh. A.K. Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Jind, Sh. Aditya Dahiya and other officers were also present.

Haryana Home and Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij met Defence Minister, Sh. Rajnath Singh in New Delhi

Chandigarh, February 23 - Haryana Home and Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij met Defence Minister, Sh. Rajnath Singh in New Delhi today. During this meeting, various issues pertaining to the state were discussed.

Elaborating on it, Sh. Vij said that discussions were held with the Defence Minister on matter pertaining to the Civil Aviation Airport in Ambala Cantonment under UDAN 3. He said that permission to fly Civil Aviation planes on the Ambala Air Force Station's airstrip was granted. A Civil Aviation Airport is required to be built near the Air Force Station and for this Defence Department land would be required. Therefore, Sh Vij appealed that Ministry of Defence should constitute a team of officers including both Central and State Governments for the inspection of the site so that the matter can be resolved.

He further added that airline has already been allotted to Ambala and flights from Ambala to Lucknow and Srinagar have also been approved. Sh. Vij said that he also met BJP National President, Sh. J.P. Nadda in New Delhi during which several issues were discussed in detail.

Haryana Welfare of Scheduled Caste and Backward Classes Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal has directed that the benefits of the welfare schemes should reach upto the needy beneficiaries residing even in the remote villages of the state.

Chandigarh, February 23: Haryana Welfare of Scheduled Caste and Backward Classes Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal has directed that the benefits of the welfare schemes should reach upto the needy beneficiaries residing even in the remote villages of the state. With these efforts, the objective of Antyodaya as envisioned by the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal could be realized, he added.

Sh. Banwari Lal was presiding over a review meeting with District Welfare Officers regarding various welfare schemes being run by Welfare of Scheduled Caste and Backward Classes Department here today.

He directed that the officers should visit atleast two villages in a month to create awareness about the welfare schemes of the State Government. He said that due to lack of awareness about the schemes, the beneficiaries are not able to take advantage of these schemes.

He directed to clear all the pending cases at the earliest so that the people can get timely benefits of the schemes. A serious note of the officials who are negligent in performing duty should be taken, he directed.

He directed to accompany the respective Sarpanches, Block Committee members, Zilla Parishad members during the visits to the villages to create awareness among the people. He said that officers should work diligently to fulfill the objective of providing benefits of the schemes to the beneficiaries.

During the meeting, officers were also directed to prepare and paste flex, pamphlets in their offices to disseminate information about the welfare schemes being run by the Government. He also informed to send these photos to the Headquarters.

In the meeting, Mukaya Mantri Viwah Shagun Yojana, Dr. Ambedkar Aawas Yojana, Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhatata Yojana, Financial Assistance to Institutions/ Societies belonging to Scheduled Castes/ Backward Classes, Mukaya Mantri Samajik Samrasta Antarjatiya Vivah Shagun Yojana, Monetary Relief to Victims of Atrocities, Legal Assistance, Encouragement awards to Panchayats for their outstanding works etc. were reviewed.

Haryana Directorate of School Education has called upon students of Class IX to XII of the state to participate in the Prime Minister's ‘Pariksha Par Charcha-2021' programme.

Chandigarh, February 23: Haryana Directorate of School Education has called upon students of Class IX to XII of the state to participate in the Prime Minister's ‘Pariksha Par Charcha-2021' programme. An online creative writing competition will be organized across the country for students, their parents, and teachers. Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi will interact with the winners during the programme. The last date for submission of entries for the competition on the portal is March 14, 2021.

Giving information, an official spokesperson said that the Prime Minister has been interacting with the students of Class IX to XII of the country before their examinations through ‘Pariksha Par Charcha -2021'. ‘Pariksha Par Charcha ' is a much awaited annual event for the last three years during which the Prime Minister through his unique style interacts with students through a live programme to help them deal with exam stress and answers questions related to their respective fields. He said that this time the programme will be held virtually.

Different topics have been given on the portal for the competition for students, parents, and teachers participating in the competition, he added. He said that applicants can also ask their questions during the programme.

Giving information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that all the activities of the fair such as mentioning about job vacancies, scheduling interviews and final selection of the applicants will be done online. He informed that all employers and job seekers can register themselves to participate in the fair till February 26 with their user ID and password on the Department’s portal. Haryana’s fourth Regional Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) has started in Hisar

Chandigarh, February 23 - In an effort to expedite crime investigations, Haryana’s fourth Regional Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) has started in Hisar.

Three such laboratories are already functional at Bhondsi in Gurugram, Sunaria in Rohtak, and Moginand in Panchkula, besides the main facility at Madhuban.

While giving this information here today, a Haryana Police spokesperson informed that new regional FSL has started receiving samples and exhibits related to various criminal cases for examination in the NDPS, Toxicology and Serology divisions from February 12, 2021.

He said that the new laboratory would receive samples from four districts of Hisar, Fatehabad, Sirsa and police district Hansi. The objective of establishing the regional lab is to ensure a more efficient investigation process using scientific methods. This would ensure timely preparation of reports and hence disposal of cases.

Earlier, above four districts were dependent on FSL Madhuban for forensic expertise. A lot of time and resources are being consumed while commuting to and fro by police personnel to deposit a case and receive a report. Now the regional lab becomes functional, results will be available at the earliest, expediting the whole investigation process.

It is worthwhile to mention that regional FSL has been established with the active support of DGP, Haryana, Sh. Manoj Yadava and efforts of Director FSL Haryana, Madhuban Dr. R.C. Mishra and IGP Hisar Range, Sh. Sanjay Kumar.
