CHANDIGARH,22.01.21.-The Charitra Nirman Committee of Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women organised an online video/PPT/picture competition 'Spread A Smile'. The competition aimed to celebrate the spirit of spreading happiness around and to encourage students to be happiness ambassadors. More than 70 students from all over India participated in the competition and entries were also received from Australia and Canada. The participants, through their videos, pictures and PPTs, expressed heart touching moments when they made someone smile. The sharing of moments of spending time in old age homes, a click to make a street child happy, feeding stray animals and distributing masks in happy handmade bags made the competition really a memorable one. The winners were awarded cash prizes along with certificates.

Principal Dr. Nisha Bhargava asserted that this competition sought to highlight that the mantra of finding true happiness lies in spreading positivity and happiness around. She added that the gift of happiness is the best gift one can give to someone in today's world.
