Mission Director Haryana National Health Mission (NHM), said that, NHM, Haryana has started awareness campaigns to educate the people about cleanliness, personal hygiene, sanitization, and social distancing as COVID-19 can be fought by practicing the same.
Mr. Prabhjot Singh further said that three teams, headed by Deputy Director Senior Scale and Child Health, Dr. Simmi, Senior Accounts Officer-NHM, Mr. Sanjeev Jain, and Program Officer, Health and Wellness Centre, Dr. Parveen Boora, have been constituted for the campaign.

Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Dushyant Chautala said that the Haryana Government has approved an amount Rs 20,000 for Sanitization Activities in villages amid COVID-19.
State Government has decided to grant permission to Gram Panchayats having own resources to carry out sanitization activities and to allow Rs. 20,000 to each of those Gram Panchayats having an annual income of less than Rs 2 lakhs from its own resources (including interest income from FDs).

Haryana Health Minister, Mr. Anil Vij said that those who have returned from Tablighi Jamaat from March 1 will be tested for COVID-19, while presiding over a review meeting on COVID-19 with officers of the Health Department today.
Mr. Vij said that every person in the State who has come in contact with the attendees of the Tablighi Jamaat should inform the administration so that they can be tested. He further said that 2.5 lakh PPE kits were ordered out of which some kits have arrived and have been distributed in all the civil hospitals of the state.
