The meeting witnessed active participation from officials of the Survey of India (SOI), National Informatics Centre (NIC), Municipal Corporation Chandigarh (MCC), Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (MPSEDC) (through VC), and the State Project Management Unit (SPMU), NAKSHA, U.T. Chandigarh.

12 coaches were awarded cash prize money of ₹7.22 lakh. New sports initiatives: Online Portal for Cash Award and Chandigarh Marathon Launched.

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor emphasized that the Indian Red Cross Society has always stood at the forefront of relief and rehabilitation efforts, and the addition of these rescue boats will significantly enhance its capacity to respond effectively during emergencies.
